The best paddling speed

Its super-efficient hull shape facilitates rapid acceleration, whilst its unique tail shape simplifies intuitive tracking, so you can focus on timing. One-stroke paddle ups aren't just possible... They're normal.

With this shape, takeoff becomes effortless, unlocking a whole new world of possibilities.

Laminate Schedules

Race

Our "race" construction prioritises performance. With a target weight under 5kgs, it's ideal for the rider wanting every edge in popping up, linking bumps, and riding the ocean as efficiently as possible. With a 3mm PVC sandwich under the dancefloor for stiffness and control, and a full carbon vacuum construction, this is the most responsive and efficient board we can build. The laminate schedule has been optimised to provide an extremely stiff dance floor and foil connection, whilst keeping the bow and stern quarters as light as possible, resulting in a board with exceptionally low swing weight. Got something to prove? This is your bird.

Dura

Our "dura" boards bring a full vacuum-wrapped pvc sandwich layer to the schedule. This creates a board with more durable rails, targeted at resisting that paddle strike or bang in the carpark. At 6.2kg for the 8'4" boards, these are still extremely light compared to the market. If you're starting out on your downwind journey we'd recommend this schedule.

What's included?

Board bag

High-quality board bags designed to shield your board from sun damage, scratches, and impacts during transport and storage.

Traction Pad

The traction we always wanted, but couldn't find until we designed it ourselves.

Made from 3mm thick EVA foam with a horizontal corduroy texture, our high-quality traction pad delivers the perfect balance of grip, comfort, and durability. Designed for absolute control and stability, it ensures your foot stays securely planted, whether you're carving waves or pushing limits.

All pads are flat at the rear (no annoying arch riser) which is great for an offset stance. The low profile 10mm heel kicker is just enough to hold your board off the pavement, useful when setting up in the unforgiving Rous Head carpark.

How to choose ?

RACE or DURA

The RACE construction is ideal for riders seeking the highest level of performance.

The DURA construction is perfect for riders seeking a forgiving yet high-performing design.

WHICH SIZE ?

Beginners: Choose a volume 20 to 30L above your weight.

Experts: Opt for a volume 5 to 15L above your weight.

I've tried a lot of DW Sups in the last 12 months in bumps and flatwater and the flamingo is by far the easiest to pop up and best to ride.

I'd say it's 30% easier than the comparable competitors boards I've tried. Their light weight is unparalleled and their bottom shape is really well thought out. I'd love to see a bit of concave in the dance floor down the track.

Mate, I've been thinking, must be the boards! the minute I started riding the flamingos getting up got 5x easier!

Had my first run on my very own Flamingo yesterday. Getting up is no longer an issue for me. Just reading the ocean and the lumps!

Had my best run by far.

Extremely happy with the board mate!! well done creating such a great SUP board!!
